Two pieces of hinge and an ancient triangular file make a three-sided frame that supports an old drive shaft mounting a number of 19th century communication wire connecting devices.
These are linked together and operate pull wires tied to a series of nails mounted in the holes of a part of a gas fire jet system.
The communication devices are all connected to the works of an old clock.
The holes in the jet system are the beer pumps, the nails form the plugs that shut them off.
The clock tells the time and decides when to operate the plugs to shut off the beer supply.
The nails could also be the (slightly) inebriated customers, couldn't they?
