An old outside light is the nose part and a set of Victorian open fire draught control vanes is the wing portion of a fanciful aeroplane.
It would need a very long runway actually to become airborne methinks, a very long one indeed.
Heard of S.T.O.L. aircraft? (Short Take Off and Landing) These have been developed for military and other purposes for many years.
Well this is their opposite number, on the ground anyway.
