About this piece

An operating handle from a piece of farming machinery stands on a horse shoe and supports an horizontal piece of stock fence, hanging from which are a hook and chain carrying a piece of rod which was bent long ago to form a clamp of some sort.

The rod carries three hooks that each hold a piece of decorative work from a garden trellis.

This must be a carcass conveyor in an abattoir; a fourth beast stands mute on the threshold, head bowed, awaiting its fate.
